We knew it had to happen sooner or later…as of October 1, 2017 the water restrictions and surcharges that have been in place since June due to a long drought the first half of this year will be lifted.
July and August brought a decent amount of rainfall, and, well, Irma did what she did.
Even though the once per week restriction and surcharges are being lifted, we will still be under year-round water conservation measures, with lawn watering limited to twice-per-week.

While the floodwaters left behind by Irma are going away, one thing not going away fast enough is yard debris left behind by Irma.
According to District officials, the company that was supposed to pick it all up decided that work was more lucrative in harder hit South Florida.
Fenney Putt and Play
Several golf courses re-opened this week and more are scheduled to open in the coming days, but the openeing that had everyone most excited this week was the Fenney Putt and Play.
