One of the best holiday light displays in The Villages can be seen each year on Dunkirk Trail in the Village of Hadley.
This is the 10th year that neighbors here have been putting on the display.
You can check it out now through December 31st, from 6 to 9 p.m. (9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays), and parking is available at the Village of Hadley postal station or at Odell Recreation Center.

Sadly, a golf cart accident claimed the life of a Villager this week when his cart was struck by a pickup truck. According to the accident report, the driver of the golf cart was not wearing a seatbelt. [Villages-News]
The developer has a reputation of keeping tight control over just about all aspects of life in The Villages, but in the last few years they’ve given up some control of various entities like the golf division and even the Daily Sun newspaper.
But according to an article this week from Villages-News, that trend may be changing, as the developer is taking back control of the golf division and the newspaper. [Villages-News]
